Not only that, rather than let fans decide for themselves, he spoiled the reveal in advance. That's some seriously petty ass bullshit right there. He also called the Discovery episode with the Guardian of Forever the worst thing ever that destroyed canon.
Sadly not just an RMB thing.RMB thinks he’s an authority when it comes to what Trek is and what isn’t. He’s constantly bragging about projects he worked on like as if this gives his opinion any kind of extra merit. The only thing that gives him an edge is that he has seen season 3 - but that simply means that he has seen it and that he thinks it’s great. That’s nothing more than his opinion. And yet, as always, he’s acting like as if it is a fact.
Personally, 'Coomdock's' and RMB's opinions mean nothing to me. I didn't like the first two seasons of PIC and I have no illusions that S3 is going to be any better, despite having the TNG cast involved. But I'm still going to watch it and make up my own mind. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. But I'm not so far.
If someone who claims to have hated every Star Trek production since 2009, including Picard Seasons 1 and 2, is saying Season 3 is great, then something different has has happened with this season compared to everything that came before it.
Maybe it just has something he personally enjoys that was missing from previous seasons.
So that doesn't mean everyone who disliked Seasons 1 and 2 will like this season, maybe just those who like the same things RMB does.
After season two and knowing it's much the same creative team making season 3, my hopes are pretty much zero. So hopefully whatever happens, I won't be disappointed.
Maths, hmm... let's see what maths say about how I'll like season 3.My take on what I'll think of PIC Season 3 is based on mathematics. I like PIC Seasons 1-2 better than the TNG Movies, therefore I'll like PIC Season 3 better than the TNG Movies.
