I think I know how they should have done "Rascals."

Another fan of "Rascals"! I always speculate how aware they were that their time with Michelle Forbes and Whoopi Goldberg was coming to an end, as this is the 2nd-to-last appearance for both of them. I wonder if the entire episode was constructed as a way to heavily utilize the characters, in a circumstance when each actor was only able/willing to come in for a single day.

Your right about Forbes and Goldberg. I kind of thought about that for awhile, at least with Forbes. Until you just now mentioned it I didn't think about it though in terms of Goldberg. She was only in 3 season 6 ep's. Time's Arrow,Suspicision, and this one.

I wouldn't change anything about Rascals. I really like that episode. Especially the last scene with Guinan and Ro, where Ro embraces being a child. It's a really touching moment.
