Torchwood Series 3 started shooting today. May god have mercy on arseholes, sorry, our souls.

Still no word on who the new cast members will be with Noel Clarke booked up with film work for the next six months and Agyeman having chosen to stink up Law & Order instead.

:wtf:

Anyways...I'm looking forward to Series 3 and I'm disappointed that it'll only be six episodes.

I have to say: I liked Series 2 more than Series 1, I was able to watch it to the end, and it made me interested in Series 3.

And I have to say: I like the idea of six episodes...they could tell one tight story.

Series 2 is definitely much better than Series 1 (which only had a couple of good episodes) and is the reason why I'm looking forward to Series 3. And you're right about tighter storytelling with only six episodes.

Hey now. I haven't had a chance to watch season 2, but from what I've heard, it sounds like the got their act together this year. Hopefully season 3 will be even better.

I think the person who writes for Digital Spy must be getting confusd of season/series terminology, he called it a "mini-season"... it also says it's running over 5 consecutive nights, so I have to wonder if that means it's inly 5 episodes.

It's one story over five nights (called "Children Of Earth"). It proved a success for the recent mini-series "Criminal Justice" so hopefully it can be repeated again.

Barrowman has said that he's provisionally marked down time to shoot another ten episodes next year (though not officially greenlit yet), so that might mean another two mini-series or ten regular episodes.

also isnt the title "Children of Earth" rather lame, im a child of the earth, your a child of the earth, I would say 99.99999999% of people on this forum are children of the earth.

I think the title "Children of Earth" is good. It's a nice contrast to "Children of Time."

I feel I have a blessed soul, and I like Torchwood.
