I saw "Captain Picard" in McDonalds!

When I was eating in McDonald's tonight I almost did a double take! An older man who looked JUST LIKE Patrick Stewart walked to the counter. Bald, the same face, everything. In fact he had a beard just like old Picard's in "All Good Things"!

It was disconcerting though because this man was dressed for running. In shorts and short sleeves. Speaking with a Midwestern accent.

I was going to comment on the resemblance but I figured he must hear it all the time. Maybe it annoys him.

Anyone else ever see TNG lookalikes?

I was minding my own business walking into work one morning when I stopped at the crossing. Who should be in front of me? But a chap looking uncannily like PS. Saw him again a few days later. I was in the middle of Devon, but there is no reason why he shouldn't be here, after all, everyone has to be somewhere, don't they? ;)

My college physics teacher looked like Picard except for the fact that he had a moustache.

You live in Devon?

I live in Devon. Torbay, to be precise. I did see a fairly good Patrick Stewart lookalike a few months ago near the sea front.

...

I dont understand, I'm the only person in Devon with the internet.

You two must be lying!

We can pedal fast enough to get broadband and everything in our house. One day I dream of a dvd player that runs on electricity rather than gas!

Does anyone else remember that radio bit where some impersonator did Captain Picard at the Drive-Thru?

"For the future of all mankind, I shall have a small Sprite."

"I am Locutus of Borg. Resistance is futile. Your life, as it has been, is over. From this time forward, you will service us."

- McDonalds Training Video.

When I saw Insurrection in the theatre there was a man that looked exactly like Patrick Stewart sitting in the row ahead of me.

Once on the subway, I saw a woman who looked so much like Kate Mulgrew I thought she must be in town filming or something, and got on the subway to get somewhere quick. And I was sitting very close to her, only one or two people between us. I had to stare for, like, 10 minutes (thank goodness for sunglasses) before I figured out that the shape of the nose wasn't quite right. But holy cow, it was close!
