Hey everyone, I have just been contacted by the guys over at Star Trek: Hidden Frontier.

They want me to help them design the main starship for one of their
spinoff series that they have in pre-production. So I will be shifting
gears a little from my Dark Mirror work for a little while to come up
with design for them.


If they alow it I will post W.I.P.s.


And if I sketch something up that fits the Dark Mirror universe
I will still post them.

A new sketchbook means a new first page. Here is the
first page for said new sketchbook, these are a couple of

Well I have finally decided to start back up on that
Mirro Mirror Star Trek sample set again, but before
I did I figured it would be good to get some character
studies done first.


Here is the first set of studies.

Well I as I have been told not to show the whole image of the ship I
creating for the Hidden Frontier folks. I figured I could get away
with a teaser of her silhouette compared to that of the Titan.

As soon as I can show the whole ship I will post them here along
with the development sketches I did.

So for now enjoy this little teaser.

I was asked on another site to show a top view size comparision of
Federation One with Cannon ships so here is what I gave them.

Sweet. You have me interested right now Sean. Now I can't wait to see what is in store over at Hidden Frontier, since you gave this tease. I know I'm going to love to see it once its revealed. I can see a lot of different classes involved with this design too. That wouldn't be a Defiant class at the top there? Not the first time a fan inspired designed has a Defiant as an escort or yacht attached to the ship.
 
that ship attached was inspired by the Defiant, but is 2 to 3 times bigger
and has retractable nacelles, a large aft shuttle bay for dignitaries, and
also has space for meeting areas. The deflector was most deffinantly
barrowed from the Defiants design. Next to the Miranda class the Defiant
class is my favorite compact design.
 
I decided to start designing some of the Titan's Shuttles.
This project is by no means official, unless Marco asks me
to actually design them.

But none the less here is my first sketch of shuttle craft Armstrong
(Not that Armstrong) this one is named after the Jazz performer.
See Titan book one I believe they named this shuttle in that book.

Remember these are just for fun.

^ Not to detract from your work (because it is exceptional) but don't they say that the Titan's Armstrong is a Type 11 shuttlecraft? We've seen them on screen in Insurrection (the shuttle that Picard/Worf are in).
 
It's always good to have additional different classes of shuttles. Maybe the Armstrong is added later on during an important mission.
