Greetings to all, I believe that I have come to the right place to sort out this mystery that has truly been crushing my brain. It all pertains to a scene I saw once in an episode of Voyager and for some reason it stuck with me and found a home deep in my skull where it replays from time to time. I of course can offer no good reason as to why this is but I feel if I finally figure out the episode it is from I can regain the chunks of sanity that have been lost in it's place..
Just so you know it has been years since I have seen this scene, so I hope I remember it correctly please if anyone knows the scene and it's location I will name my first born after you, lol! (get on your thinking caps!!)
Oh btw it's a short throwaway scene so I know this wont be easy... here goes:
The scene shows Chakotay and a young native humanoid, a boy I think, in a jungle or wooded area. Chakotay is having difficulty getting some tinder to catch a flame and the young native grabs either a flower or a seed or something and manipulates it in such a way that it catches fire.. It was basically an attempt to show how alien the world they were on was. Fire starting methods used on earth fail miserably and you must think like an alien and know the alien land and its properties... and END SCENE.
Yep that's it! I know its a short scene but it is driving me crazy, does anyone know which episode it is from? Please Please Pleeeeeease!!
