I really really do. My brother hid my brand new pack. he doesn't like me smoking. any smokers here? What brand? Lucky strike here.
Funny thing is I quit while here in Taiwan...where a pack of cigs is only about $2.50US!

I'd be willing to bet a $2.50 Taiwanese pack of camels literally is made of camel, unlike a $8 pack you can get Stateside, which tastes like, y'know, nicotine!
Much the same quality disparity in Serbia, where I started. Over there, a pack is about $1.5, and I smoked one pack per day.
In order to spend the same amount on tobacco since moving to France, I buy a tobacco pouch and related paraphernalia for $10 once weekly. I think, amountwise, there's about as much tobacco as roughly two packs of cigarettes in a pouch, so I have technically cut down. I definitely don't light up as often, since I'm not allowed to do it indoors where I'm renting, and going through the whole rolling ritual outside in the freezing cold can get a little old.
Wouldn't it be hilarious if you were British and had started your thread as "I need a fag"?I really really do.
Camel, usually. Lately in the loose tobacco in a pouch variety, you know, with sepparate paper, and filters for rolling. Although I haven't lit up in about a week. I indulged with a regular pack which I smoked over the course of one party, so now I'm punishing myself for being uneconomical. Most of the time I don't even think about needing to light up, but any mention or image has me longing, oh, so, bad!
BTW, DH, some Rabbi gave me pipe tobacco. I guess I need a pipe to use it? How would I go about finding a good one?
I quit a few months ago after 30 years of smoking - and I just know that if I had one, I'd have more. And within the month I'd be back to full time smoking. So it's all or nothing for me!I used to smoke a pack per day, but I decided to quit cold turkey about two years ago. I stayed completely smoke free for about a year then I had one while at a wedding. Now I allow myself a cigarette after a glass of wine or bottle of beer, so overall I smoke maybe 2-4 cigarettes/week, usually on weekends. A pack of Marlboro Lights will usually last me a month or more. My wife also smokes sometimes, though less than myself.

Camel lights.
I tried nicotine lozenges - well, I say tried...I spat out the first one within ten seconds and that was that. Horrible, horrible stuff. Luckily I didn't get nicotine cravings, so quitting was far easier than I anticipated.I quit a few months ago after 30 years of smoking - and I just know that if I had one, I'd have more. I'm the same as you.
I only smoked for 8 years before I quit, but there's no going back.
I did use the nicotine gum, by the way. I think it's great and I don't go for that crap that people say where ''It's just substituting one addiction with another."
The gum just covers your need for the nicotine, and it was rather easy for me to stop the gum after 3 months of it.
