I miss my weekly Star Trek.

I miss always having my weekly Star Trek to watch when there was nothing else on. All I have is like, reruns now. I get TOS in the evenings, which is cool, TNG late at night (if it's still on, it's been awhile since I've watched it), and I thought I saw Voyager on Spike TV but I could be wrong.

Anyways, besides reruns of Star Trek, the only good programming that seems to be on is UFO Hunters or anything else space related on the History channel... :)

Watching Reality TV about other people's lives just does not interest me. I want to be entertained. Bring on Star Trek... again! :)

Who's with me? :D

Watch Fringe! It's a great series, even better than X-Files. You can catch up on past episodes... the premier for this season is next Thursday. :)

But yeah... I also miss a "new" episode of Star Trek. The good thing is that the franchise is quite large. I may remember most episodes I see, but when enough time has passed there are still things about them I notice that makes them feel somewhat fresh. It's also fun to check out fan productions... some of them are quite entertaining.

Given the choice of watching three full seasons over three years - or - watching a single two hour movie every three years, I'll pick the seventy hours of Star Trek every time.

I miss weekly Star Trek too.

Me three.

I miss it too.

But I'm still looking forward to the next movie...which doesn't even come out till May of 2012! jeez...I'm 37 and time goes a bit faster now and that still feels like too far away! I mean not even this upcoming summer but the one after!?!?!

I'd probably be looking forward to the new movie too... if I hadn't seen Transformers 2. :(

See, this is why I'm glad I have it all on DVD. Whenever I feel this way (which happens about once a year), I just pull those out and look at my favorites.

It''s not new, but what the hell, it's Star Trek, and it beats anything on TV now.

As for new Star Trek, that's what the books are for.

I agree, get Star Trek back on TV! :bolian:

I've been making do by catching up on Clone Wars. It's okay - a bit simplistic, but that's the Star Wars style. When Star Wars tries to do complexity, they just get their feet all tangled up and they fall on their faces.

What I wouldn't give to have a weekly dose of the shows I grew up and on to see. It seems nowadays all we get are those inane reality shows, I mean next up is, "Ice Skating w/ the Stars"?!?!:barf:
My week consists of either watching NCIS or "No ordinary Family", to watching Smallville and Supernatural. I occasionally catch Shatners new show but not much. in between it is those A&E shows as DOG or Billy and the Exterminators.

Shame on you. No discussion of Star Wars on a STAR TREK forum :)

I have watched some of Clone Wars but despite what people say, I think I enjoy watching Star Trek more then Star Wars.

I miss a weekly or daily fix, too. Jsut for something I know of quality to be on. My TNG and VOY come on at 2 ans 3 a.m. by that point I am out of it. The shows on BBCA always seem to be the same dang episodes over and over- is that just me? Also, even when I see an ep there I like, I still hesitate over that fact that TNG is even on BBCA in the first place! Any chance the series will be on netflix instant watch? That would be nice!

This is testament to how utterly bored I am of no new Trek to discuss and a sad sign of the depths of my desperation. I'm starting to actually like Star Wars again. Help me, uh...not you, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Maybe Chakotay? :p

People say you enjoy Star Wars more than Star Trek? The nerve of them!

Yes to miss new episodes coming out, and people here creating their new weekly avatars. And where one of the forums is at least busy for that show.

When TNG was on there was always that little cherry on top that was the preview of NEXT week's episode....so even when the episode was done and the Enterprise sailed off I knew I still had that little thing to look forward to after the last commercial break.
