I liked Abrams' Trek better than...*

I liked it better than every bit of Star Trek I have watched previously, which means TOS (although it is really close), TAS, TNG, DS9 (also close here), VOY, ENT, and all the previous movies. It is, without a doubt, the best Star Trek movie I have ever seen.

Personally, I like this movie's storyline better than TOS. TOS seemed campy for it's day and this movie was a lot darker, but at the same time, sent the same message for the fans of the show.

I wasnt greater then the wrath of khan. that movie a s aclassic, and it has this awesomeness that just cant be beaten, but, star trek 11 did equal it.


now alot of trekkies hate the new trek timeline.

personally i liekd it.

I was born in 1985, and started watching tos when i was five. from there i got into the movies and felt very far behind and in the middle, when i reality, i was in the middle of two generations, wich was actually confusing.

now. i have made sense of star trek, but this movie has special meaning to me, it's generation of trek, born in my generation, and something that is now new to me...and not anything ive seen or had to go look up on the internet to make sense of. so to me, this is star trek's first journey for my generation, and now i can spend my young years enjoying it.

without too many people thinking im weird.

I agree, except that I also liked it better than Wrath Of Khan. If Montalban JUST didn't have that poofy hair...

It was pretty awesome tho'. Next movie needs Commander Koenig to show up from an alternative universe, he can be pally with Nimoy-Spock and they can undergo an impossible mission or two.
