I like..your style!

When I first saw Star Wars as a kid, I remember coming out of that theatre and thinking..."Han-Solo is cool. I like his style."....he was so, well, indifferent and had his own little smuggler world and his chewie, no doubt boffed a bunch of ladies along the way...he was cool.

Has there been a scifi character that when you saw them you thought 'that character is cool. I like his/her style. Yeah....."

Ben Richards (Arnie) in the Running Man.. just direct.

Similarly, but even better is his Dutch character in Predator. "Colonel, my team works alone.. you know that."

Chiun is rapidly becoming a favorite. and he's got style to spare. (Remo Williams)

There's Dell Spooner from I, Robot, love the old Converses and the parachute pants.

I think bumblebee has style, when he turns into a new Camaro.

Although not a "scifi" movie, I always thought Miagi in KARATE KID was cool...I just watched it a few weeks back and found myself talking like him to my kids when they did something wrong..strange Iknow..

I'd love to see who'd win... Chiun vs. Miyagi.

I love Miyagi, but Chiun is just friggin great.

Both have the best lines.

yep...and If I'm not mistaken, both were nominated for best supporting actor the years the movies came out...Chiun won I think when he was nominated...been so long ago...

Neo. When he puts the shades and duster on-how cool is that. Same thing with Roy Beatty in the rain.

Mal Reynolds.

Seconded in more recent times, and, when I was a kid, I really liked the "Lois and Clark" version of Clark Kent. Probably because I was a dark kid with glasses and at least thought I identified with him. He was cool enough to want to be like, unlike the movie version, and smart and just generally a great role model - also, he was Superman.

Thirded.

And never forget, Mal always gets to shoot first.
