Well, you are a young person. Wait till you're older. 

Everybody is attracted to young people of their preferred gender, for obvious reasons; it's easy to mistake that for a deeper connection. Twenty four years is a big difference. Personally, I have an informal limit of twelve years; I figure if someone is young enough to be my daughter, that's a bit much.

Anyways, I think that whatever floats your boat is fine, but personally, I think that if the difference is too big, you'll just fail to connect- because the whole way people view life and the world changes when they get older. I wouldn't (I'm 25) for the life of me date someone who's 19 or twenty.
Hell, I'm not even friends with people younger than twenty anymore.
