I just made a post about a fan production called "Of Gods and Men." Somehow, I had never heard of it before, and discovered it in a link from a prop-making forum. I've never read the fan-film section, although I greatly enjoy New Voyages and Farragut.
But this one -- holy crap. Check it out. Look at the cast, look at the effects, and be amazed at what fans can do, and the crap the pros give us instead.
