I know I read it, but can't remember where...

B-4 was dismantled in Resistance, but then Cmdr. Maddox of the Daystrom Institute reactivated him and waged a campaign for his rights as a sentient being; he won the case in Articles of the Federation with help from testimony by Voyager's EMH. What he's done with his newfound freedom remains unknown, but it's probably something quite elementary, given his profound limitations.

^ I'm certain there are many options open to B4. He could be a cross-country jogger, or a running back, or a shrimping-boat captain...

Excellent! Thankyew sir.

I really hope we see him again in some capacity... I'd love it if he could be worked back into TNG in an interesting and creative way without him just being Data-lite.

Don't forget being very loyal to Ensign Dan, becoming a ping-ping champion at a competition on Romulus, and showing President Bacco where he was shot in the buttocks while visiting the Palais de la Concorde.

Can we use this as a catch-all thread?

Cause I've got one that's been bothering me for sometime. It was George Kirk telling a young Jimmy about not cloning the family dog after she died. It was okay for cattle and such, but the dog was like a family member and wouldn't be respectful or something. I cannot find the novel that was in, or did I just imagine it?

thanks

i don't know if there's much more to go on as far as the B-4 story...unless he emerges with Data's personality, i dont think hes that much of an interesting character anymore....

Ad becoming an astronaut and member of the Federation council. (read the book)

This may not be the thread to ask this, but I have looked at a lot of them and haven't found an answer to my question.

I read somewhere that some of the storyline for the new movie was influenced by the novels PRIME DIRECTIVE and BEST DESTINY. Has anyone heard more than that. I think I saw it in an issue of Entertainment Weekly.
