I just watched “The Bonding”

I don’t think I have ever cried so much watching a TV show before. Picard telling Jeremy about his mother’s death, Wesley’s discussion with Beverly about Jack, Wesley telling Picard how he had felt when his father died, Jeremy and Worf taking part in the ritual. It was beautifully done and heartbreaking. I’m watching TNG all the way through for the first time, and while I have enjoyed the show up until now, this is the first episode where I can truly grasp at how amazing this show really is.

Here is what Ron Moore said about the actor
"I was not a big fan of the actor playing Jeremy, so in that sense I wasn't disappointed at all. It would've been interesting to continue the relationship on the Enterprise with a different kid."

I thought the actor did an okay job.

Wasn't this the episode that introduced Ronald D. Moore into the writing staff?
Memory Alpha has information about this, check out the story and production from information section.

Ron would have liked to see more of Jeremy on the show? Well, you're a writer, so.. should have done something about it.

Worf was in DS9 too, how about Jeremy on DS9?

Considering how Worf treats his family members, it's quite fitting that we never see Jeremy Aster again. ;)
