Yes, it has been going since 9 June 1999!

For many years it was on Geocities but when they closed, the site was transferred to 1000MB. It worked fine until 2009 but then there were some problems there which made it impossible to edit or update the site for several months.

So in 2012 the site was moved to Byethost. Another web host where everything worked fine for some years. Until now when my antivirus program refused me to access the site via Google and I also found out that the site had been blacklisted on some sites for being a malware site.

Since nothing harmful exists on my backup on my own computer, the problem must be at Byethost and they were informed about the situation. When nothing happened, I decided to close the site and find another place for it. Which I did! At InstaFree with an own domain name!

The site started as a simple photo gallery of Kes pictures but during the years it has evolved into something more, now containing a Voyager timeline, reviews, stories and such. I has gon through at least two major "reconstructions" since the start, none of them related to theneed to move the site.

Most of all, it has been a lot of fun doing all this which is a reason why I didn't want to abandon it despite the fact that Kes and Voyager aren't such important issues for me as they were in 1999. Still, it keeps the memories alive and from time to time I get the inspiration to come up with something new. I just have to find more time to write some stories.

Well, that has more to do with me being a lousy web designer than an intention to make something "90's". I used to be better at it once upon the time but it looks like I'm not in sync with the latest trends of web designing. Besides that, I don't want to meddle with things I don't know about so I've been playing safe with this one. However, it's nice to see that the design is appreciated. Thanks for that!
