I haven't had a bath in more than 6 months

I just realised something. I have lived in my new home for 6 months now and not once have I had a bath, and my son has only had one.

Now the main reason for this is because I have trouble getting in and out of a bath due to arthritis but also because I prefer showers.

Do you have baths?

I rarely take baths. I just think they are kind of icky. Plus they are too difficult to wash your hair in so I don't bother. And the idea of shaving my underarms or legs in a bath grosses me out because I think of all the little hairs floating around and sticking to me.

I love to take a bath once a week. Curl up with some nice smelling bath salts, relax and enjoy myself.

Sometimes it's nice to just float in warm water. I also use the chance to snoop on my husband as he calls his parents. He he he

I shower, I like the hot water running over me. If I'm not feeling good, like the
last couple weeks, I'll sit under the running water, can't stand filling the tub
though. I like it to be new fresh water running, sitting water just gets bleh.

Never. I despise baths...they take too long and waste water. Give me a hot, quick (unless I have to wash my hair) shower any time over a bath that begins to turn cold as soon as you shut the water off.

Shower each day. Haven't had a bath in years. Matter of fact, the house we've lived in for 16 years, I think I may have had a bath twice. Possibly three times.

I'm the opposite. I rarely shower. I love a nice bubblebath. Very relaxing. I only use a shower if I'm extremely sweaty, like after yardwork, or if I'm at a motel.

Rarely. I like to soak in the tub, but this place doesn't get enough hot water to make it worthwhile. Someday, I will own an old-fashioned claw-footed tub and a huge hot water tank and soak the cold winter days away.

Thas why I love our hot tub, course then I have to go shower after...

Yuck. Never.

Baths are not a substitute in terms of actually cleaning oneself; I mean, aside from the idea of sitting in dirty, soapy water, how exactly are you supposed to wash your hair?

If it's relaxation you're looking for, nice long hot shower is far more effective then sitting in rapidly cooling, stagnant water. Plus the added bonus of actually being clean when you get out...

Exactly. :techman:

Bubble baths are nice for relaxing in, if you're not dirty and give yourself a good rinse after.

Oh no, I'm the only one who shares something with the boss.

This is not a good sign for me at all, is it?

Though we could trade some nice bath salts and bubble bath stuff in our secret bath paradise.

At the risk of further eroding the last remaining shreds of my masculinity, I must admit to not being averse to the occasional bubblebath for relaxing, though prefer a daily shower for actually getting clean.

My wife takes 1-2 baths a day. She reads.

Me, I haven't taken a bath since I was a little kid.

At least, not alone...

Don't have a proper shower have one of those things that plugs into the taps.
If i am in in a rush i have a shower but if i have time like a nice hot bath then usually i will wash my hair in the shower when i am done.
