I haven't been to the cinema in over a year

My last film was Slumdog Millionaire some time ago, on my own.

Before that, The Golden Compass back in December 07, with friends and work colleagues. (Man, I miss them.)

The last movie I saw in the theater was "The Menagerie" Remastered in November '07.

Before that was Nemesis in December '02

Next move theater experience will be Star Trek :D (next month, folks :techman:)

I think it was Ice Age 2 about 3 years or so ago.

When the LOTR films and SW prequels were out I went to see them, but that's about it this decade. I'm not much of a movie guy.

Going to the cinema now seems more of a 'date' or social thing ~ dinner included etc.
I haven't been for a couple of years *gosh realises last time may have been X-men3*. Our local cinema is a bit lame ~ I think they're showing Jaws 2 at the mo;) Used to take son to next town mega-plex thing which only charged £3'ish for pre- midday showings which timed brilliantly with the 'all you can eat pizza buffet' for lunch lol!
As just me and long-term bf we're happier to avoid the expense and other people, wait for dvd and watch in comfort of own home with drinks, nibbles, pause-ability for loo breaks and I can smoke if I wish *ducks the tut-tuts*.
Will break that for Star Trek though, but will make an event of it:)

The last movie I went to see, in a theater, was the first X-Men movie.

Last for me was Watchmen (for the third time) on Saturday night

And I've never seen a film at the cinema that many times since I was 9 with Jurassic Park :)

Well, hell, I go to the movies all the time. Saw a preview screening of La Onda Chicana on Sunday, a screening of the silent film Nosferatu on Friday, and hope to catch Adventureland sometime this week. Before that it was Watchmen, I think. When it gets closer to the fall I'll see more films--it's sort of a dumping ground for movies right now.

I don't go to the movies that often anymore - just not interested. My little sister dragged me to the one about the girl who has an alternate universe in her house complete with alternate "parents", etc. I don't even remember what it's called.

Before that the last one was "Mama Mia".

I see about a film or so a year in the theaters. After school, the whole appeal just seemed kind of lost on me.

In the last six or seven years I've seen both Bond films and Both Batman films, Superman Returns, and Sith. That's it.

I went and saw Monster VS Aliens in 3D. I thought the story was rather ordinary but the 3D effects were great. I will give it a 7 out of 10. If i hadn't seen it in 3D I would have only given it a 6.

Thanks for warning me about the possibility of a headache, Bob the SKutter. I did have a slight headache by the end of the movie but luckily had had paracetamol on me like you suggested.

The last movie I saw in a theatre was "Cloverfield". I went with a bunch of Polaris committee members just because they were showing the first Star Trek trailer. :o

Previous to that, I'd seen "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story", because my boss took my co-worker and me to see it on the last working day before Christmas a couple of years ago.

Previous to that, I think the last movie I'd seen may have been "The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy".

I don't get out much... though I will be seeing the Trek movie. I won't be seeing it for a couple of weeks after it opens, though - my bf wants us to see it together when he visits.

No worries. Seems like it's a fairly common thing with 3D movies, but it's worth it because it does look really good.

Last film I saw was when my mother was visiting (and so could watch my daughter) and that was Burn After Reading, but for the most part I ignore what's in the theatres as much as possible.

I may see Watchmen if it's still playing when I get back from holiday in the States in May, but I'm really ambivalent since I enjoy the book and can always read that again...

the last film i remeber seeing at the cinema would be the judge dredd one a few years back, theres been little else to intreast me to go back though i may see the new trek film.

I watch a new movie every weekend in the theater, trying to stay up to date, I always go by myself.

Since Watchmen is unlikely to be in the theatres when I come back from holiday, it'll probably be Star Trek as well...when's that released in the UK?
