The song can be heard in its entirety (approx. 2 min.) dubbed over this clip from the Shawshank Redempion. I do not know how or where this was obtained. I was always curious how the song ended post nerve pinch on that bus. Not
recommended for all ages, though the lyrics are quite tame compared those heard today.

Yep, and Kirk Thatcher was also the guy who coined the term "Efrosian", after Mel Efros, for the species of the Saratoga helmsman of ST IV and the Federation President of ST VI.

Well, I suspect that had the scene had needed any longer a song the lyrics to the back half would have been more developed. It was written to be a comically annoying song, after all. (I have to admit, although the genre isn't to my tastes, I do kind of like it anyway.)
