Thanks! It's been a long process. I was virtually unemployable with my undergraduate liberal arts degree, and it's been a long road convincing any accounting firm that I was worth a chance. I've gone through a ton of interviews in the last couple years as I've built up my accounting courses (only two being available at my undergraduate university). The KPMG job actually came about during some last-minute hiring a couple months ago, so I had already come up empty again during the regular recruiting process this past fall.

I see you are in MA, where did you attend school? I'm at UMass.

You won't get the opportunity to do any of the above again until next year, from what I see of starting accountants with the big four.

Congratulations! I finished my Master's program a year ago (in Mental Health Counseling) and am currently going through the graduate remorse phase (where I regret going into my chosen field).

Already been there...got the t-shirt...I only had two undergraduate accounting courses, after all... It's back to the career dart-board if this one doesn't work out...
