You know, a while back Paramount was looking to make a cheap, unrelated straight-to-DVD sequels division for as many titles as possible, from Top Gun to Clueless to Forrest Gump to Face/Off, sort of like what Warner, Dimension, Sony, etc. already have set up. This Tom Cruise thing could be bogus.

I don't know. Top Gun 2 would've been a great idea in '88 or '89. Not so sure about 20 years later.
