I don't get it.

There are probably other aspects about the show that we can agree on. :techman:

Like Neelix, apparently. :) Your views are similar to mine on that one.

The whole "rapidly turned into an energy-being" mumbo-jumbo which they came up with only to get rid of the character as soon as possible.

Yeah, it does seem like a quick way to boot her out, when you put it that way. The Ocampans turning into energy idea... I've liked it and I've disliked it. On the one hand, with that kind of power, they could be a major force against the Borg. They might even take over the entire quadrant. On the other hand, it's too Q-like. Remember the Traveler who took Wesley Crusher? There's another species with Q-like powers. There are just too many enormously powerful species. Oh, and the Nacene would also be in that category.

I also have a feeling that Suspiria and the Ocampa on her planet would be more interested in aiding the people on the homeworld after the encounter with Voyager and the information they got from the Voyager crew.

Maybe. She did seem impressed with Janeway, but I'm not convinced she's an altruist.

There were never any explanations why the relationship remained broken up and no scenes in which the characters talked about it or explained anything.

Yes, she seemed heartless and it didn't fit with the past 2 seasons. As much as I wanted the Kes/Neelix ick factor to stop, they should have found a better way.

I took a look at your site. You're a bigger Kes fan than I thought! It made Firefox freeze up for a bit :(. It's probably a combination of lack of available RAM on my end and the applet on your home page. I liked your shuttle building team idea. Since the crew destroyed shuttles like they were going out of style, that team would have been necessary.

well it's a clear canon fact that they can build shuttles. We saw them build the Delta Flyer from scratch TWICE. It's not a huge stretch of the imagination to think that durring the majority of their time when they're not fighting their weekly foe that they are building shuttles and making repairs to the ship. That's why the ship always looked so nice. Most of the time THEY HAD NOTHING ELSE TO DO!!!!!!

Well, I actually like Neelix!
(Lynx hiding behind shelter, not sure if he will be bombarded with sticks and stones or roses for actually liking the Talaxian).

I find Neelix friendly and funny, a nice person who always wanted to cheer up people. But his jealousy could be annoying.

I agree on the "powerful being" comment. There are too many of them interfering. I don't think that the Ocampa should be so powerful, they should be mor elike the Vulcans but without their calm and logic. Some limited mental abilities, like those Kes had in the first three seasons are actually enough.

As for Surspiria, I don't think that possible help th the Ocampa on the planet would be an unselfish act from her side so maybe they could manage better without her. I also think that Suspiria should have been used better. She should have returned in some of the last episodes.

Nice to see that you liked the site but I'm sorry if it didn't work so good with your browser. I've tested it on Explorer and Netscape but not on any other browsers and some of the items, like that stardate clock is rather new.

As for the Shuttle Building team, that is actually a logic explanation made to explain why they always seem to have such a supply of shuttles and torpedoes. OK, it started out as a bit of a joke to explain why we never saw certain characters but it ended up as a realistic possibility.

As for some of the other "Voyager Mysteries", the show did have a lot of unanswered questions and some contradictios as well so I just got the idea of trying to explain them. Some solutions are serious while some ar done with some grains of humor too. :)

Most of the "mysteries" are explained within the series.

People didn't give Voyager enough of a chance to bother listening closely.
I've seen posters here that have rewatched the series state that they discovered the "inconsistancies" were either explained and they missed it the first time or they found some of them not to be as major as they first thought.

Borg + baby = recently assimilated

Recently assimilated + Near by home world = Voyager bringing baby home.:bolian: <- Chell

in this case it doesn't matter since the chakotay who ate it was a hologram in Seven's program

but most of the mater used in the replicator system is most likely recyled human waste

It's energy, silly.

nope, the repliator systems works by rearanging atoms in matter. It can't just create energy from nothing. There is a matter reserve that the replicator draws from and turns it into anything the person wants. And yes most likely part of that matter reserve is poo
