I didn't know that digital copies expired!!!

One day movie players will scan the room, count the number of eyes watching the TV, and charge accordingly.

And someday movie theaters will wipe your memory of any visual or auditory record of the movie you've just seen, leaving you with only a vague impression and a strong urge to recommend it to your friends and family.

Wait, that doesn't happen already...?

Exactly what happened when my dad went to the movies this one time. The next day, I asked him what he saw:

“What was it called?”
“Um.”
“Was it a comedy?”
“Um.”
“Was it an action movie?”
“Um.”
“A drama?”
“Um.”
“Who was in it?”
“Um.”
“WHAT was in it?”
“Green. There was green in it.”

He saw ‘Field of Dreams.’

Did he at least know that it was a baseball movie?

^ Nope. He said that he liked the movie, but it made no impact on him at all. Absent-minded rocket scientist.

I bet they wish they could. Reminds me of this:

Well, I went ahead and downloaded the dozen or so digital copies I had that I hadn't pulled over before. Only The Incredible Hulk was expired.

I haven't done the 8x WB titles I have since they make you download some awkward utility to copy it over.
