Seriously, I think the Riddler would be an excellent choice for the next Nolanverse Batman film. IF they don't go the Joker clone route (which, I felt Schumacher did with his version of the Riddler).

Just someone who commits normal crimes and is pretty good at it, too, except he feels he has to leave behind a clue, in riddle form.

Right. You want someone who's definitely as manic as The Joker, but who goes about it in a much more sedate sort of way.

I still think David Hyde Pierce would be brilliant. I don't give a damn how old he is.

Also, while we're demanding things I demand a bottle of Jack Daniels and Mika Tan's undivided attention for a weekend.

I DEMAND that a future Batman movie features Mathew Lesko playing the Riddler.

You know... although I don't actually want this to happen, because the first two new Batman films have been so high-caliber... I have to admit... I, too, have oft joked that Lesko would make a funny-ass Riddler. He certainly has the outfit for it.

Actually, I never thought that a whole film could be done with Scarecrow, but BB proved me totally wrong... maybe we should do another with one of the lesser baddies... the Clock King, would be cool...

If they had him out to be like some kind of mad bomber, setting timed explosives all over Gotham City, and forcing Batman to try and stop them all in time... who knows? With the writing team they have now, I'm sure they could make it work.
