I am Writing a novel and I have awkward Questions

Set in Australia, He takes out a State Leader, and a Freighter moving Imported Cars (from a rival automotive company) and makes it look like part of a Terrorist Plot implicating local bozos in a Terrorist Cell. I just wanted to Know how much a Corporation would Pay for the services of someone to do that.

The Suitcase nuke is something else in the novel and I dont want to give it all away...

ps

Aragon: I already knew how vaguely to make the Dirty bomb but Dirty Bomb is not what i was looking for (hell if you filter Helium through Cadmium you can strip if of Neutrons and make Deuterium-which is why the devices had this litle red Metal bullet to fire into a core).

Fake IDs - you dont - you walk into a DMV with a photoless Birth certificate and bank Book and get a drivers license...which you in turn use to get other stuff.

Helium minus neutrons is not deuterium.

Helium - 2 protons, 2 neutrons
Tritium - 1 proton, 2 neutrons
Deuterium - 1 proton, 1 neutron
Hydrogen - 1 proton, 0 neutrons

"Suitcase Nuke" is a term for any small, highly portable nuclear device. The smallest confirmed size is around the size of a small office refrigerator. It can be carried as a backpack by a big enough guy. Nothing the size of an actual suitcase has ever been documented, as far as I know.

Re: Ok now how many people are going to take this seriously?

Um, OK:

1. how much do Hitmen kill people for in the real world?
2. How much did a Russian Suitcase Nuke sell for?

My prices are as follows: $1500 to fuc* some one up with an iron bar, $5500 to break limbs, $5700 for slashing and disfigurement, and $50 to kill 'em out right.

Suit-case nukes... I got three left... two 150 kiloton units and a 75 kiloton unit. Now if you are looking for a cruise-missile or something with a ballistic launcher I got options ranging from pickup-truck transportable all the way to elaborate self-contained submersible launch-platforms.

Drop me a PM and I'll give you a price-quote.

And somewhere, deep in some government agency bunker...Plecostomus's
name get's another checkmark.

Actually I'm one of "them." The six people who PM'd me... won't be logging into TrekBBS from their new home.

Thats just creepy...fortunately if I want my Terrorist Cell to know how to Produce Biological Weapons...I just have to crack the covers on my copy of "MATERIALS ON THE TRIAL OF FORMER SERVICEMEN OF THE JAPANESE ARMY CHARGED WITH MANUFACTURING AND EMPLOYING BACTERIOLOGICAL WEAPONS".

As the Title: I am writing a Novel and I was wondering if there was someone who might have an Idea on how to answer some awkward questions?

Um, OK: 1. how much do Hitmen kill people for in the real world?
2. How much did a Russian Suitcase Nuke sell for?

Its just that i dont live in that kind of scary world with a value on human life...but I dont want to put down something wrong...

1. It depends. You could hire a junkie off the street for a few hundred up to the ten's to hundred's of millions for a true pro like the jackal. Hell, you could even get a political or religious zealot to do it for free. You would have to provide more details for a more specific answer.

2. Back after the initial fall of the USSR, you could have gotten one on the black market for about ten or twenty million. It's harder to get now, so the price would be higher... if you can find one.

Actually, for #2, after watching a special a year or so ago on the TERRIBLE conditions of garding nuclear waste and what not in Russia, it should be VERY easy if you go to Russia; completely lost material, material that is gone and can't be accounted for, stolen material, guards bridbed, guards going on lunch and leaving NO ONE to guard the shit, and so forth.
