I am building a dog house

This project is taking way longer than expected. I had to take about a week off because of work, but today just pissed me off. My roof is not cooperating.

I did, however, go to the Habitat for Humanity store and got a lot of donated materials for super cheap! Roofing, vinyl siding, and peel & stick flooring...all for just $12. This might be my new favorite store.

That was a great idea. They have tons of cheap stuff.
Yeah, I volunteered for Habitat when I was in college, but I completely forgot that the store was there until today. There's so much awesome stuff!

Do you already have it all built? Add a vent (or fancy-looking hole ;)) if you can, to keep the air flowing.
There are no intended holes, but there will certainly be a draft.

It'd be great if the floor wasn't directly on the ground for cold winter months, too.
I've been debating between putting some legs on it. I think I will definitely do that.

But I'm sure whatever you've done is great. :)
It was great until today. My roof is not cooperating with me.

Well, it's 4 months later, and I finally gave my friend her doghouse.

It's just been sitting on my porch this whole time because we've both been too lazy to move it.

(10 points to whoever tells me which tv programme/film that happened in.)

"This Is Spinal Tap" movie. They made a really small stonehenge for the stage.

In the film/programme I'm thinking of, it was actually a dog house, but feet->metres meant it ended up the size of a garden shed.

Spinal Tap has inches instead of feet. Whereas, Black Sabbath (apparently) had a far too large Stonehenge problem.

Ian Faith: "Nigel gave me a drawing that said 18 inches. Now, whether or not he knows the difference between feet and inches is not my problem. I do what I'm told."
David St. Hubbins: "But you're not as confused as him are you? I mean, it's not your job to be as confused as Nigel."
