Apparently it's been confirmed that as well as series 5 being filmed later this year, a big screen movie is also being produced.

Hustle: The Movie is on!



It seems it's feast or famine for you Hustle fans.

After a long period of waiting for confirmation, last month it was announced that a fifth series was going into production for transmission later this year. Now I can reveal an added bonus... Hustle: The Movie!

That's right, a big screen version of the con artist drama is currently in the works. Details are patchy, but Fox is thought to be behind the project, which is being penned by Tony Jordan.

Cast member Jaime Murray confirmed the news to me at the weekend, saying that the script had already been written and she was "definitely" on board.

Murray - currently starring in FX's Dexter, which began its second season at the weekend - will not be part of the lineup for series five, however. "I'm so sad," she said. "I'm going to miss those guys so much. I love the production team, the producers and the actors. It just wasn't going to work, schedule-wise. Fingers crossed at some time in the future, we all get reunited."

It doesn't say so in that article, but it was reported that Marc Warrens not going to be in series 5 either. Wonder if he'll be in the movie.

I heard a few months back that it was all over for "Hustle".

Strange news, along with the musical chairs these actors seem to be playing in the later series.

I still have not made it all the way through series four yet. Something felt a bit off with out the black dude.

Well Adrian Lester is back in series 5. I guess the various actors are going off to try an make a name for themselves in Hollywood.
I guess whoever said it was over must have been speculating, because there was no announcement on whether it was continuing till a couple of months back.

well S3 played as normal, S4 however Adrian Lester left the show & Danny took over as leader, pulling a con in LA & Las Vegas

meanwhile S5 has been officially announced, this time

Stacey & Danny have left, however Mickey has returned.

& looking at AMC website, they seem to have shown S4.

& where this movie fits in, who knows

Well Jamie Murray said she's in it. And it's been written by Tony Jordan, so I'd think it'd be the British cast.
