I know I don't. It's one of the most boring episodes of the entire series. I've never understood the love for it.

Am I the only one who finds it hard to accept that there really are people who don't love "The Empath"?

Sadly, there are but a few enlightened individuals who cherish The Empath for the gem that it is.

"The Empath" was the first episode I saw un-dubbed and the first I owned on VHS tape from the UK (only four eps were originally published on tape because they had not been shown on BBC, having been judged as being too brutal). So this "Gem" has always held a special place in my heart and few stories have I seen more often.
