Exactly what I was thinking...I don't mind The Apple, but the other three you mentioned should all easily have been in the Top 10 for the season...I can't believe they all went so soon, before things like Apple, Metamorphosis, Friday's Child, and By Any Other Name...

I agree. And I tried to save the Giant Space Amoeba, but my last minute campaign wasn't persuasive enough.

That "Captain McCoy" line in the fourth act still makes me laugh out loud.

Personally, I love The Doomsday Machine -- William Windom put in THE best guest performance in all of TOS -- and quite possibly all of Star Trek TV PERIOD (Mark Lenard's Romulan Commander being a close second).

I really like the apple, one of my top 5 for season 2 probably.Its a very fun episode.The doomsday machine is terribly over-rated, i think its only alright.Ofcourse i also think who mourns for adonais, i, mudd and wolf in the fold are better than most of the episodes left. *shrug*
