Human Induced Geothermal Activity?

I know that the subject matter is possible especially with the Enhanced Geothermal System technology that has come about in recent years. The earthquakes produced are relatively low magnitude quakes.

In my recent Jurassic Park/Net fanfiction I'm brainstorming an idea where the Praetorians (the computer terrorist group from the Net) know that the island of Isla Nublar uses geothermal power for its massive electrical needs (I recall seeing that in both the Jurassic Park and the Lost World novels). I wonder if it is possible to induce higher level Richter Scale Quakes with present technology? If so how would the Praetorians set about doing it?
