How would you improve the bridge?

Good morning.

I've recently thought that the bridge could benefit from an ordinarily floor-concealed couch (one that ascends/descends via a mechanism, basically) adjacent to the trio of center chairs; there have been occasions where one or more guests are present on the bridge while Riker, Picard and Troi are already seated. Standing for hours on end has got to suck .

They must have some sort of smoke in the air conditioning system, with vent rights at the ops and conn stations to ensure an invader can get them to pass out first based on the perceived facial expressions of the folks right here:

I'd make the bridge more like how we saw it in Generations.

With more cowbell, though. Everything's better with more cowbell.

The extra side panels from Yesterday's Enterprise and Generations vastly improve the TNG bridge.

Also I'd ditch the overwhelmingly 80's hotel beige carpet everywhere look.

More like a small town in space. Schools, arboretums, families with kids. Captain Picard Day. Credit down at your grocery store, a barber who tells you jokes (he's bald and has blue skin, but hey, long as he's good at his job).

I love the aesthetics of the walkway/balcony, and I'm sure it wouldn't be long before some cheeky ensign tried to do this...

The bridge had a replicator, but we didn't see anyone use it or drink coffee/tea on the bridge like we did in TOS.

Then we have that one moment where Geordi tells Sonya see shouldn't be drinking around the consoles. I'm hoping that 24th tech wouldn't be taken down by hot liquid.

^Why would they need to waterproof the equipment in Engineering? It doesn't matter how far in the future, they wouldn't make it waterproof unless there's a need.

My laptop isn't waterproof due to "primtive 21st Century technology" but because they didn't bother to because Apple assumes we would keep the laptop away from water....
