"I'd rather go down fighting..."
How would you explain to the Borg why you are resisting assimilation rather than accept the assimilation and achieve perfection
I'd rather have a photon grenade. When the Borg overrun me, I detonate it, and there's nothing left to assimilate.
That is actually a pretty good argument, both for non-assimilation and for the Federation as a whole. Might be worth a try... but I'm still keeping that photon grenade as a backup plan.Maybe " Dear Borg, I value individuality and diversity, which are sacrificed in assimilation. True perfection lies in embracing our differences and learning from one another. Cooperation, rather than assimilation, allows for growth and enlightenment. Let us strive towards a shared vision of perfection through mutual respect and collaboration. "

I totally get where you're coming from. It's true that assimilation sacrifices individuality and diversity, which are crucial for personal growth and enlightenment. Embracing our differences and learning from one another is what truly leads us towards true perfection. The Federation has always been a beacon of cooperation, valuing the unique contributions of its members. It's definitely worth giving your argument a try!Pretty much. Or like the crazy sergeant in "Dead Rising 2" who thinks you're a zombie. After you defeat him, he tells you "You ain't gonna bite me... I'll never be one of you." Then blows himself to smithereens.
