How would Dax's S7 gone if TF had stayed?

Here's my episode by episode account of Season 7 Jadzia Dax if Farrell's role remained as it was in Season 6:

I don't see Bashir as a very sympathetic counselor or even all that good a listener.

Images in the Sand - Kira should go to Tyree. The Emissary's mission is of great religious significance and Kira would feel compelled to go. She could leave Dax as acting commander of the station.

Penumbra - could be interesting if they played it as Dax commanding the Defiant lost her with many of the crew lost or missing, including Worf. Dax could take a shuttle against orders and go looking for him. Dax's turn to rescue Worf, after Change of Heart. Dax would be motivated both by saving Worf in particular and saving someone under her command in general. Dax would suffer professionally for it, and it would be a source of tension between Dax and Worf.

Thanks. I just wanted to get the thread back on track and not have it devolve into another "why Farrll left" threads (which I would assiduously participate in).

Kira helping Sisko in this religious journey would make more sense. If she left before the hospitals were discovered, Dax would be left to deal with the Romulan problem, thus proving her mettle for command.

DS9 could have - and should have - put most of the main cast in the equivalent of recurring roles for the final two seasons. Garak was a fantastic character and he had barely 2 dozen episodes over the series - but he killed in each one. The show could have benefited greatly by cutting Siddig and Visitor to semi-recurring and focused on stronger side-character shows. Emperors New Cloak was kind of a waste for me; funny but barely worth rewatching. There was no reason that Dax couldn't have worked as a recurring for S7 aside from the contracting issues.
I'm not very fond of Ezri as a Dax, i think the character could have been done better.

How would you have finished the Jadzia Dax arc for Season 7.

Ah Photon my good friend, I love your posts & threads...but Jadzia arc? What Jadzia arc?

Jadzia never had any plot-related reason for being on the show. Nor did Ezri. Ergo, both were 100% useless characters.

If TF stayed on the show, she would have made no difference to it, other than by wasting screen-time and being annoying exactly like she did for the 6 years that she was on the show. That's how the writers would have "finished her [non-existent! ] arc."

How would I have finished her arc? I would have had TF break the 4th Wall, and give this speech to the audience: "I'm sorry for ruining many scenes of this series with my useless presence, bad-to-mediocre acting, and inherently annoying character. And I am especially sorry for the unbearable Jadzia-focused episodes that my presence has forced you to endure."
