How will you react if the Klingon War Arc isn't wrapped up?

I don't expect things to be tied up in a nice bow but end of the war only means at the least outright attacks against each side stops. We're still going to be getting the aftermath. They said early on that is also in part what season 2 will be about. I expect other plot threads to continue and they've already said that as well. Season 2 isn't going to be a reset of things. Some of those threads could lead to exploration arcs but not like in the past I believe.

I'd be happy to see the war continue, although it doesn't mean the show has to be about the war per se. Some of the best stories are set using wars as a backdrop without focusing on how they are fought. I have no doubt the war could continue whilst still allowing stories to develop which aren't specifically about the crew's role within that conflict. Equally the season finale needn't necessarily be an epic final battle where the federation wins out, DS9 style.

I think the "road to peace" might be more interesting, with the show following the conflict being replaced by detente, developing into the cold war scenario we see in TOS.

A cold war/cease fire.

There's that "vs." again. Why the fuck does there have to be a "vs."?

If it's come down to this, I'd rather have more Klingon war.

I don't know. Maybe ask someone like Ken Ham who thinks people rode dinosaurs like cowboys rode horses?

Of course science and faith can co-exist. Unfortunately there are still plenty of people on both sides who perpetuate the dogmatic view that science and faith cannot co-exist. That alone is worthy of discussion. Maybe the conversation the show runners want to have is how there needs to be a middle ground between the two. We'll just have to wait and see.

Those dogmatists exist on either side of the subject, and both camps are quite wrong. Science and faith are not, nor have they ever been, mutually exclusive.

To quote Luke Skywalker, "Amazing. Every word of what you just said was wrong."

The universe is not a set of binary relationships.
The universe doesn’t even know you exist. If I’m wrong please explain to me. Don’t ask me to take it on faith that you are correct.
