How to stop saying "I" too much?

I don't know if you notice this or not, but I decide that I'm going to taking a longer break from computer to redirect all my focus on to find the source of the problem itself that I've been dealing with for a while now.

You of all people, I ask of you, how can I approach this problem to stop myself saying "I" too much? Saying "I" has becoming so damn annoying for me to hearing it, so what can I do to eliminate that?

Well, instead of saying, for example:

"I am cucu for Coco Puffs."

you could say:

"Myself? Crazy for them there Coco Puffs."

I don't know, I think you need to keep "I", it's a vowel. Try cutting out one of those lesser-used letters like "Q" or "Ӕ".

^ Nice one!

Think about others first and ask questions to find out more about them. The problem with forums is we post what we think and therefore the use of "I" is bound to almost as much as a presidential speech nowadays.

You really can't go 1 post without shoehorning politics in there huh?

It's like you've snapped.

Wait, something about that was supposed to be funny?

Anyway, as far as typing/the internet goes, the "I" key on my first laptop keyboard literally snapped off one day. After that it became much harder to type "I" so I did start looking for ways to avoid it. For a while.

Then I got a new keyboard and became entirely self-obsessed again. *shrugs*

Posts are very awkward to make through, er, "stubborn neglect" of that key located between "O" and "U". :bolan:

This thread of mine is a great epic fail so far....

Well if you mean shifting the emphasis in your actions and thoughts away from yourself and towards those of others, er, well, try shifting the emphasis in your actions and thoughts away from yourself and towards those of others - consideration, selflessness, multi-lateralism, partnerships, teamwork.

Or, if you just want to avoid saying "I", you could adopt the Royal "We"™. :bolian:

I've considered using the "Royal We," but I'm not much of a team player.
