How to find out info about an internet domain?

I am in need of a little help

I know that it is possible to look up a website's IP address and find its physical location. I also know it is possible to look up to whom the domain is registered.

I am trying to find out who registered this website:
http://www.republicansforignatieff.com/

I am trying to find out whether it is registered by just an ordinary political activist or if it has been set up by a political party (most likely the NDP).

It is a not-so-subtle attack website, which is clearly trying to use a rather inelegant form of reverse-psychology.

LOL! That's what you get for selecting an self-described American whose security and foreign policy positions make Harper look like a beatnik as your leader Given Iggy's pedigree, I have no difficulty believing that many Republicans might support him.

Funny thing is, I might actually have voted Lib if you'd kept Dion. At least he was an actual Liberal rather than a full-blown neo-con in sheep's clothing.

I suspect it was set up by an individual. If it was funded by a political party, they're obligated to clearly state who is operating the site, I believe, or else they face fairly heavy fines, plus the negative spin that would go along with trying to slip something past people, if I recall correctly.
