How old were you when you first got drunk?

Another stupid, random question by me.

So how old were you when you first got drunk? If you haven't gotten drunk say your age anyways. Also if you have stopped drinking, brag about it because getting drunk really isn't worth it.

I was 24, it was 3 weeks ago and the headache lasted a week.

I'm 20 and I've never gotten drunk solely because I'm very worried it'd replace a previous addiction I had. Believe me, I've considered it during a few instances of intense depression.

Supposedly, i was 5 when i got drunk on egg nog. But the first time i "remember" being drunk was on my 21st birthday and my dad left a bottle of brandy sitting out in the kitchen.

On my 21st birthday. My friends took me to a bar. I actually didn't drink that much, but I was so not used to it that I drank one drink and (on the car ride home) fell asleep in my friend's lap. And no, I wasn't driving. :p

I've never been "drunk"- I drink enough to get slightly (enjoyably) tipsy and relaxed but never enough to have any unfortunate side effects like hangovers, and never so that I lose control of myself. :)

I first got drunk on my birthday. The nurses where oooing and ahhing over me, because I was such an incredibly cute baby, and we ended up in a bar getting smashed, then heading back to one of their apartments where I scored some warm boob with three of them.

Aside from the occassional baby-sitter, I didn't regularly get drunk and score with a girl till I hit preschool. By first grade I was kind of burned out on the lifestyle, but kept picking chicks up in bars until I had a wakeup call in third grade. That's when I realized that scoring with my playmates hot moms could cause problems for their families. After that I tried to date only single drunk college cheerleaders.

I had my first alcoholic beverage when I was 14 -- I still can't believe the waitress actually served it to me, especially since I was only kidding when I initially ordered it. It gave me a bit of a buzz, but it didn't get me drunk.

A month or so later, though, when I was 15, I attended a party and got somewhat plowed. So I guess I'll go with that.

23. I hadn't touched alcohol before then.

Sounds like you're being sensible. If you've got legitimate concerns of your own, definitely don't bother with getting drunk. You'll be better off for it.

I first got properly drunk when I was 15, I had a drink here and there before then, though.

29, again at 31 and once more at 38.

I still don't understand why people drink or drink to excess, but to each their own. I, personally, like Diet Coke. :p

I personally like the taste of alcohol and like feeling buzzed. Also, it depends on who you're drinking with. If it's with some friends, then fun times will be had.

For sure.

Being drunk in and of itself isn't necessarily fun, but if you're with the right people, it can be an amazing time.

It reduces inhibitions. If it wasn't for alcohol I wouldn't have a single story to tell about being rejected by a woman.
