How often do you watch Star Trek?

Star Trek has been off the air for a while now, the last new episode was aired about 2 years ago. However, every episode, every film are available on DVD and there are numerous re-runs on the telly.
Its so easy to watch your favourite episode, show or movie.

I used to watch it on a religious basis. But it has been over a year since I last watched an episode. Been venturing into other shows I never payed much attention until now, shows like SG-1, Farscape and new shows like BSG and Doctor Who.
But today I got the craving for some good old trek, and I stuck on some DS9.

So how about you? Do you still watch Trek religiously, or have you not watched in months or years?

:borg:

I watch the TOS-R stuff that's running right now in syndication. I also watch Enterprise whenever I get the chance on Sci-Fi Channel (especially the Fourth Season episodes as I liked those the best.)

I don't really watch a lot of DS9, or TNG reruns on G4 (or Spike or whomever is showing them these days) and I avoid Voyager like the plague, unless there is absolutely NOTHING else on that I'd like to watch (which, with DirecTV, is pretty much a statistical impossibility considerring I'm an avid SpongeBob Squarepants fan --- and, to quote Nicktoons Network, "Spongebob Squarepants, on 7 times a day, if you miss him, you're just not trying hard enough." --- an actual bump for SB on Nicktoons Network, LOL!)

So, yes, I watch Star Trek probably at least once a week even today. And I'm a huge fan of the Star Trek Customizable Card Game (www.decipher.com) so, we pretty much make up our own episodes crossing over every TV Show and Movie (and some novels) ever made or contemplated, at least once a month. It's a blast.

I DVR Enteprise and catch a favorite episode of one of the other series as it airs. I'm not interested in Remastered TOS and there isn't a good time for me to watch DS9 or TOS that hasn't been remastered.

Not that much actually. I don't even have any of the DVDs. I use too but over the course of time they got lost from moving. So I tend to catch the TOS-R every now and then but even with that its been about 2 months since I seen a full episode.

I still have not had the chance to see TOS Remastered, don't even think they show them in the UK yet.

The sad question is "How often do you STOP watching Star Trek?" The answer is "Only long enough to watch Firefly." (Ok, Heroes is pretty good too.)

I'm a sucker for sci-fi, old and new. So thoughout the week I'm always watching some form of it. I'll have to pay more attention to see how long it takes before I get a serious craving for Trek.
I'm guessing it's hard for me to go more than a few weeks before I just gotta pop in a copy of a Trek movie, TOS or TNG episode.

I usually watch TOS on tvland in the morning as I get ready for work. And then I catch the last half hour of voyager when I get home from work on SpikeTV.

I watch TOS on TVLand in the morning. I also catch TNG when I can, but otherwise, I don't watch that much.

Same here. Currently, I'm watching Season 2 of TOS on DVD and then my girl friend and I will start watching TNG, Seasons 4, 5, 6, and 7. She hasn't seen any of DS9 so that will following next and ending the year with Voyager all of course on DVD. :)

Usually I get into a mood for a good Star Trek episode once in a month, and then during a few days I watch some episodes that come into my mind and I haven't seen them for some time.

Quite a lot. 3 or 4 episodes usually on the weekends. I started rewatching in order, beginning with ENT in January. I'm currently halfway through TOS somewhere around Journey to Babel.

I may end up breaking that order, with Star Trek about to start up on Virgin 1. On the other hand, I've gotten used to just watching DVDs and find 15 minutes of ads per hour intolerable.

Not into TOS remastered. But, every two or three days I watch an episode (TNG, TOS, DS9, VOY, ENT, but not TOS rem.)

It's been several months, unless you count seeing about five minutes of a TOS episode at the gym a couple of weeks ago. If/when I buy the next season of DS9 on DVD, it'll probably go up to two or three episodes a day, then drop back down again.

Basic cable sort of limits the options. :)

I'm in the not too often group. I'll often check the listings to see if there is a special episode I want to see. Then I'll DVR it. I'm usually not home or even available to watch TV when it's actually on. As for TOS-R, I tape all of them, but I find myself often fast forwarding through them just so I can see the new parts.

I tend to watch TOS on TVLand while I'm getting ready for work in the morning. On the weekend, I watch whatever brief snippet of TOS-R that WSB Atlanta bothers to broadcast.
