Spoilers How much more vulnerable than Data are these synths?

It seemed strange to me honestly. Data never protected his eyes as if they were vulnerable as far as I can recall. Actually he got half his face smacked and his head fell off in Times Arrow and he was good as new. It didnt seem like he had a weak point there.
Not to mention that in First Contact, the Borg didn't just try to assimilate Data with an injection of nanoprobes.

If was Data's creator, I would hide his On/Off Switch up his arse in his anus. You don't want any random blokes turning your Android On/Off.

Also, after Soong's experience with Lore do you think he wants to make it that difficult?

Data stated officially that he has a ultimate storage capacity of 800 Quadrillion Bits

If using Short scale (US, Eastern Europe, English Canadian, Australian, and modern British)
1 Quadrillion = 10^15

800 x 1,000,000,000,000,000 = 800,000,000,000,000,000 bits
= 100,000,000,000,000,000 bytes
= 100 ExaBytes (Decimal Scale)

800 x 1024^5 = 900,719,925,474,099,200 bits
= 112,589,990,684,262,400 bytes
= 100 ExBiBytes (Binary Scale)

If using Long scale (Western, Central Europe, older British, and French Canadian)
1 Quadrillion = 10^24

800 x 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 = 800,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 bits
= 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 bytes
= 100 YottaBytes (Decimal Scale)

800 x 1024^8 = 967,140,655,691,703,339,764,940,800 bits
= 120,892,581,961,462,917,470,617,600 bytes
= 100 YoBiBytes (Binary Scale)

I wonder which one of these is his actual Ultimate Memory Capacity?

He has linear computational speed rated at 60 Trillion Operations/sec

If using Short scale (US, Eastern Europe, English Canadian, Australian, and modern British)
1 Trillion = 10^12
60 x 10^12 = 60,000,000,000,000 Operations/sec

If using Long scale (Western, Central Europe, older British, and French Canadian)
1 Trillion = 10^18
60 x 10^18 = 60,000,000,000,000,000,000 Operations/sec

I wonder which one of these is his actual Total Computational Capabilities?

And if they can reconstitute an android from a single neuron, can they reconstitute Tasha Yar?

Why did Soong give Soji Dahj super strength and abilities but the ones chilling around synth village just get knocked around like average guards?

I think Maddox created Soji and Dahj specifically for the potentially highly dangerous undercover missions he sent them on, to uncover the truth behind the synth ban. Therefore their capabilities were designed for that purpose, with dormant defensive abilities installed in case of emergency.

The other synths were created for a much simpler purpose: to be a new life form, living a peaceful, idyllic life on a hidden planet - designed, therefore, to an entirely different purpose, one in which it was hoped self defence would never be needed.

Also, it may make a difference whether Soong or Maddox was in the driving seat at any given time.
