I thought it was hilarious, and I can count the number of musicals I like on three fingers.
But I'm SO far behind Trek novels these days. The last series I started was Vanguard, but I've still to get that finished, and the last I bought was the Gateway Saga!
Yeah, that was me trailing off reading Trek lit regularly. Vanguard was recent, but I got the Gateway series thru a SF book club on discount! The Gateway saga was 15 years ago! And Vanguard ended about 5 years ago!
But I remember reading How Much For Just The Planet? 12 years ago! It's to bad that Pocket doesn't use, or even bring back on some books, some of those painted covers. I think Planet was the first cover that featured 5-year Mission Kirk with Movie-era-TNG-era Klingons.
Can anyone more up to date tell me if there are any more comedy based Trek novels written?
D'oh, how could I forget Peter David when it comes to humour! Even in serious books, he can get humour into the story. Loved "Strike Zone", finishing off a DC comic storyline from years earlier."Q-in-Law", which is essentially Lwaxana Troi vs Q, is pretty funny. By Peter David.
