How many times have you tanked up your car this year?

Hubby and I, being the totally anal retentive people that we are, track the fill-ups, maintenance, and repair work done on our cars.

So far this year and counting today's fill-up, my car (Gilgamesh, a royal blue Camry Solara) has had 6 fill-ups. SIX. That's it! I've only driven 900 miles this entire year so far. I used to do about 70 miles a day to and from work, about 400 miles/week. But he should have an oil change, regardless of the lack of miles.

How about you.

While living near Chicago, I was filling it up every 3-4 days. Now that I've moved, I fill it up about twice a month.

About 15 times so far. Bear in mind that my commutes have topped round trips of 90-100 miles per day at times.

Haven't a clue... well, I guess I fill up about once a week, though if sometimes it's more frequent, depending on work or visiting people. I get travel expenses for the work travel, so I don't tend to think too much about it. I think I've filled up twice this past week. Actually, thinking more about this, I probably fill up about once every 5 days on average, though I tend to fill up from about a 1/4 tank rather than letting it drop lower.

From the autumn, I'll probably only need to fill up about once every 10-14 days instead, though a much lower percentage of that will be a business expense.

About one tank a week in the bike. Its 2-2.5 gallons, usually about 7 dollars. Working on cars and bikes is one of my hobbies. I have all 4 cylinder cars and trucks, all 5 speeds and I do all my maintenance. That keeps cost down. Wife's little Festiva has 234K on it now and still gets around 40Mpg.

Usually every other week. Where i live everything is so close by that there is no need to do a lot of driving.

I average about every two weeks. But when I go out of town, it may add two tankfuls....

I fill up about 3-4 times per month, but I never let it get empty. I'll fill up when I'm down to 1/4 tank. My car gets pretty good gas mileage (30 mpg) considering how old it is. (1990 Camry with 280,000 miles on it.)

I fill up about every ten days or so. However, I don't let it run below 1/4 tank because the fuel pump is cooled and lubricated by the fuel in the tank.

My car gets excellent gas mileage for it's age and mileage. I average 27 - 29 mpg in my Grand Am at 14 years old and almost 150000 miles.

Um, I fill up at least once a week, no way to track it, I also take a lot of trips out of town, 10 hour drive round trip to visit my family, and driving 4,000 miles round trip to Texas in July also to visit other family, so um, yeah, I put a lot of miles on my car, and a lot of gas.

dunno, it died earlier this year so i really didnt care to count. but one thing is certain. with the gas prices here in sweden my next car (Lord, please forgive me) is a prius...

I fill up about every other week. I don't do much driving except to and from work, so that saves on the gas budget.

6 tanks total, though I tend to just put in $20 at a time, which takes me to various levels.
