How many times does Janewaythe crew die?

(And no silly answers)

I was watching scientific method the other day and I wonder that, if the ship went through a timeline, do you think the dead crew members come back or what?

The amount of deaths caused by aliens, shuttle craft etc makes you wonder about the crew as well.

Well, we know about the seemingly limitless supply of shuttle craft, wonder if it is the same with the crew?

(Or is my mind running away with me again - the hazards of being a scientist myself) :rommie:

here's a list of all named members of Voyager's crew, including KIAs

http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/USS_Voyager_personnel

here's a list of the unnamed background crew members

http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Unnamed_USS_Voyager_personnel

i assume some of the unnamed correspond to those listed in random crew manifests. i'm too lazy to count all the named personnel.... should add up to about 140-150 max. Voyager is also supposed to have 73 male crewmembers, which i think is interesting that the crew is more or less 50/50 male/female

I can't even keep count of how many times Janeway herself died - do you only count it once for Coda, or each time that she's shown to die? :p

I think the ship definitely has some form of people replicator - you're never given a definite figure for how many crew are Maquis, which muddies the waters a bit, and there was at least one other Vulcan working for Chakotay (Repression is it?).

Up to Scientific Method, I think there's either 140 or 141 people on board (possibly 139 as the events of Latent Image are supposed to have taken place before this. I've been trying to keep track of it. I don't have a lot going on..), though this figure seems to have bounced around anywhere from 140 to 150. I remember 148 being mentioned at some point before the fourth season too. I'm sure later on in the series, after a few more redshirt deaths, the figure is stated to be 150.

It seems the lowly crewmen are made of the same stuff as the shuttles and torpedoes.

I'm not sure that answers your question though, sorry! :(

I can't think remember how many of the crew was killed over the years. It really can't be alot, since there was really no way to replace them. The beauty of doing alternate timeline stories is that you can kill as many of the crew and who ever the hell you want.

....Not enough?;)

Kidding but...yeah, that magic reset switch got freakin' abused during Voyager's run!

Unfortunately, Memory Alpha takes Okudagrams far too seriously and has included the joke killed in action crewmembers named after characters from The West Wing from Seven's casualty report from "Imperfection".

Hm. There was one episode where the ENTIRE crew died. The one with the alternate Voyager in it? That wasn't really them, though. That was the 'alternate crew', except for Harry and the baby.
