How many times did you see each film in the theater?

1. TMP: 6 (including screening in 2008)
2. TWOK: 3
3. TSFS: 2
4. TVH: 4
5. TFF: 1
6. TUC: 1
7. GEN: 1
8. FC: 1
9: INS: 1 (and only because a friend dragged me to it...and paid)
10. NEM: 0
11. ST: 2

I saw all of the movies the weekend they opened. I suspect I saw some of the early ones more than once, but I can't recall the details. I know I saw the new one once at our local multiplex (on opening day) and later at an Imax theater in Philly.

I have particularly fond memories of seeing the third movie at a special showing hosted by James Doohan. And, come to think of it, I first saw GENERATIONS at a sneak preview my Star Trek editor managed to get me into . . . .

1-5: 0
6: 0, but I almost saw it, I was 11 and inexplicably, my 'mates' decided they would rather go and see Father of the Bride instead
Gen: 1
FC: 2
Ins: 1
Nem: 1
JJ: 3

I saw all of them on original release only one time. The only notable audience-related aspect of any of them was when I saw V - me and my friend were the only ones in the theater and that probably did help color my reaction to it since every other entry I saw was if not packed, then reasonably full.

How many time watching movie in theater is depends on the movie. But I like to watch every movie in one hours only. I like to watch movie with my family and relatives only.

I didn't start goin' to the theater for Star Trek movies 'til ST: Generations was released.

GEN - once
FC - twice
INS - twice
NEM - once
nuTREK - four (twice for free, one of those four seats from Leonard Nimoy, and one at IMAX)

TMP-48 (had a friend who worked at a movie theatre)
TWOK- 22
TSFS- 8
TVH - 5
TFF - 6
TUC - 7
GEN - 5
FC - 8

48 times for TMP - very impressive, number6

TMP - 0 - too young for original run, and never managed to see it in a theatre since, sadly
TWOK - 1 - first movie I ever saw...interestingly at the same theatre I saw William Shatner performing at this week
TSFS - 1 -at a drive-in , do they have them any more?
TVH - 1
TFF - 2
TUC - 2 - In the USA, the same day I met James Doohan
GEN - 1
FC - At least 4, my non-Trekker friends loved it, so I got to see it over and over
INS - 1 - I was seriously ashamed to be seen walking out of that movie
NEM -1 - I went by myself, and so did the other three people there
ST 09 - 2 - once in IMAX.

All of my second viewings of II-V took place at a marathon where the slogan was "Sit Long and Prosper".

I don't think I've seen too many movies more than once in the theatre, especially in the time period STII-V came out. My friends and I seemed to go to the movies once a week, more often during the summer. There was always something new out and it was a social thing with at least 10 of us hitting the theatre most nights. Once we got a pretty big group together than must have filled an entire row of seats in the theatre. Not sure which movie, but I'm certain it wasn't a Trek film.

Pretty simple theater-wise:

STTMP: 0- I did see it in a film showing on a screen at a campground with a projector about a yr after it came out. Most of the large crowd left before it ended...

STII: 0 Saw it shown in a class at middle school for the first time. Again on a screen with a projector. Was not a "trekker" yet at this point.

STIII: 1. Loved the movie and became a true Trekker around this time.

STIV: 2 times. Most fun I had at a movie. Best experience along with ST09.

STV: 1 Went with 2 other people..one was a big Star Wars fan...I didn't hear the end of it for days. Embarrassing film.

STVI: 2

STGEN: 2

STFC: 2

STINS: 1

STNEM: 1

ST09: 4- Worth every penny

I can pretty much track my life by where I saw each new film.

TMP: Everett, WA. Me and about twenty college friends had to drive two hours to see the movie since it didn't open anywhere closer. Road trip!

WOK: Bellingham, WA (which had finally gotten a multiplex in the interim). Saw the movie with Carolyn Cushman, who later became a fantasy book reviewer for LOCUS.

TSFS: Sea-Tac, WA, not far from the airport where I was bussing tables for a living. A friend and I took a limo to meet James Doohan at a special sold-out screening at the Lewis & Clark Theater.

TVH: Downtown Seattle, a few blocks away from the plasma center where I was working as a phlebotomist. Stood in the rain for an hour to buy tickets for me and all my friends.

TFF: Uptown Manhattan with John Ordover, my future STAR TREK editor.

TUC: Manhattan. Dragged my girlfriend to it for my birthday.

GEN: Manhattan. Caught a sneak preview with Ordover and some other Trek types.

FC: Times Square. Dragged my girlfriend again.

INS: A Saturday matinee in the East Village. Kind of a let-down. Couldn't find anyone to go with that weekend. (The girlfriend was busy.)

NEM: Painter's Crossing, PA. Another poorly-attended matinee.

ST09: Newark, DE. Much more fun. A group trip with some Trekkie neighbors. A good time was had by all. (I later took the train into Philly to see the movie in IMAX.)

I don't like going to Trek movies with other people the first time. I don't want people jabbering or being sarcastic. I could have seen ST:XI with a group of people but I just KNEW they would nitpick it to death so I went by myself.

My friends save the nitpicking for the parking lot or resturant after the film. Spent far too many hours in those places discussing a movie (and a girlfriend getting slowly annoyed.)

For TMP through First Contact, twice each. For Insurrection through 09, once each.
