How many times did Janeway threaten to destroy Voyager?

^ To be fair, the newer ships are probably also much harder to destroy.

Deadlock. Duplicate Janeway destroys the ship and takes the Vidiians with it.

I loved that scene.

"Hello, I'm Captain Kathryn Janeway. Welcome to the bridge."

davidant32, you won't find where I insulted you. I quoted two other posts and disputed yours calling people here humorless. If you want to be lumped with others, a good way is to quote them and agree with them, as you did.

Wow. Let's start over. This is the thread topic. Go from there.
Exactly how many times did Captain Janeway threaten to destroy Voyager?

She did it for real by ramming the Krenim ship in "Year of Hell".

"Dreadnought" she was willing to create a warp core breach to stop the Weapon of Mass Destruction from crashing into a planet.

There were also several early episodes where she said she'd blow up the ship rather than let the Kazon get their unclean hands on her water replicators - can't remember the episodes.

Anyone else?
DO NOT discuss mod actions, inactions, or continue the off topic personal calling out discussion after this post. If you need to continue that conversation PM the person in question. Don't let a valid topic be ruined with petty bickering.

OK, let's start again…

Alliances: "I'll destroy this ship before I turn any part of it over to the Kazon!"

Scientific Method: Janeway takes the ship through a binary star to get rid of the aliens.

Deadlock: Where one of the two Janeways destroys her ship to save the other version.

She didn't do it that often, and primarily did threaten to destroy the ship when it was necessary (most of the time the crew went along with it).

In "Prey" Janeway implied that the Hirogen would practically have to destroy Voyager to get the 8472 alien back, and it darn near came to that until Seven saved the day (and was yelled at for it to boot)

Yelled at for saving the day. Interesting. She must have felt...."great"....after that.
