You drive an Audi? How many times has it broken down in the last six months?

seriously though, my dad owned one for a short time. He's never had a worse car in his life. I should know, I rode in it. What a piece of junk that thing was. I'm just lucky I wasn't there when my parents were driving to Chicago and it died right out in the middle of nowhere. It was a lucky day when we could drive it all the way across a shopping mall parking lot without major engine failure.

That's interesting, 'cause we've had a few Audis over the years (two A6s, an A4, an A2, and now a Q5) and we love(d) every single one of them.

That's interesting, 'cause we've had a few Audis over the years (two A6s, an A4, an A2, and now a Q5) and we love(d) every single one of them.

In the about 5 years I've owned it, I've had to have the radiator fixed twice for a leak, and the screenwash system fixed once. That's not too bad. The radiator thing is a bit of a known issue on B6S4s unfortunately - the car has a fairly low stance and random stones/grit can sometimes kick up and punch holes in it. All the radiator work was done under warranty.

That's a reasonable record. I'd certainly buy another Audi, but would also look at other cars (maybe a used Merc S55 AMG from a couple of years or so ago). Though I'm not in the market for a new car right now for the reasons I mentioned upthread.

Mom wishes I had never gotten a used car, but I beg to differ cause in the long run, I might be able to get some serious $$ out of it if I wanna sell it in two years' time.

If nothing else you've not wasted serious cash on buying a new car.
