How many open questions do we have? (SPOILERS for S6)

Oh it's more like a giant bell-end that a pointy hat - why are people so keen for him to come back?

^ I've no clue other than the fact that he's a co-founder of Gallifreyan society and has a bad ass reputation. I think fans are excited to see how he could be interpreted for a modern audience as well. I know I am.

I honestly don't understand the interest in Gallifrey, every appearance by them or other time-lords simply confirms what a boring place it is.

If he were to come back (at any time) and be able to exist in the "regular" universe again, I could see him regaining some of his sanity, but then with his awesome powers, breaking the Time War just so he could have revenge on the Timelords for abandoning him in the anti-matter universe.

Then we could end up with some Timelords, but not the entire society per se.

I thought the chase and staged execution of them had something to do with tricking the silence. And to make it seem legit, they had it over a few months while they tried to identify them - though its all muddled and confusing.

Well moffet has cleary indicated that he is getting into so some timelord related stuff this year by having the Lodger Tardis and the girl regenerating, what excactly, we dont know yet.

Are The Silence and the Pandorica connected? Prisoner Zero gave a prophesy that implied this. But if so, how?

Perhaps the Silence used post-hypnotic suggestion to convince all of those other aliens to form an alliance against the Doctor and build the Pandorica as part of a plan to separate the Doctor from the TARDIS.

^ Either that or Magneto put them together as another Brotherhood Of Evil Mutants.

I don't see all of them getting together on their own.

Aside from the visual reference, how did we figure that the ship from the "Lodger" is a proto-tardis?

Well, the Doctor described it as a "Time Engine". "Someone's attempt to build a TARDIS."

River said that the spacesuit has about 20 different kinds of alien tech so that almost suggests that the 'alliance' from last season is involved.

This may be the first "appearance" of The Silence -- as during Amy's conversation with the Doctor (immediatly after the Time Loop at the football game) she looks off to her right and is startled. Then, after turning away and blinking, she seemingly forgets.

I'll bet that there have been Silence in tons of previous episodes. How would we know?:p

Not really tied into the rest of this stuff but still something I've been very confused about: Did they ever explain what was advancing the evolution of Ood society in "The End of Time"?

I'm pretty sure they didn't/haven't. All we've gotten was a reason to believe it was strange, I think

True, they could have caused the time war, helped create the Daleks but if we think like this then they could be responsible for anything
