I like that old adage about feet and mouths.
Keep going, dude.Cut out the personal jabs, please.I am reminded of the old adage, there is no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid people who ask them.

Not intended to be a harmful jab, thus the winking smilie. More a joke among friends. No offence intended. Remember another old adage, don't take life too seriously because you'll never get out alive.
M:I was at least AS good as TOS, and I would say the best M:I episodes were better than the worst TOS episodes.MI and The Avengers were good but not in the same class as TOS.
I am a fan of all things Trek. TOS is where it started.
It was the show that started it all. There are some excellent stories as well, although some of the writing does show its age. FX can be upgraded, but outdated attitudes are another matter.
Good choices. With the exception of The Outer Limits and The Avengers, all can be found on Me-TV (check your local listings).I love TOS. It and Twilight Zone were the "out there" TV shows to watch in re-runs in the late 70's and early 80's. I never missed them and can still enjoy them fully when they are on the tube.
I also enjoy Mission: Impossible from that era.
Don't forget the original Outer Limits and The Avengers.
TOS is best. All others were just trying to copy and recapture the magic that is The Original Series.
Calling it tos sounds rude? As in tosser?

Yeah. Or it's a load of toss!
^ I love your post, desertstarlover. I'm about your age, but didn't discover Star Trek until midway through the TNG.

What is that, a British curse, or something? It sounds familiar, but I can't place it.
It doesn't matter when you discovered Star Trek, it only matters that it made a difference in your life.
