Another "old" TOS fan here. I've been a fan since the early 70s, when TOS was all there was. I still love it and always will, cheesy warts and all.
Same here! It really is a testament to the sheer genius and utter brilliance of the show that I'm watching the same 80 episodes and still absolutley loving every wonderful second of them! Just as much (if not more) as I did when I became a hardcore fan nearly thirty years ago.I continue to watch it over and over and never tire of it.
Why can't we all agree that Trek is the best thing ever and have a drink ?
Err... for the vast majority of fans I'd say "really liking" the show goes hand in hand with "really liking" the episodes by default. Or are you asking if any of us "really like" Star Trek's core concepts and/or characters - but not the episodes? Please be more specific.i was talking about the tv show only not the episodes. like this> YES<
I love TOS. It and Twilight Zone were the "out there" TV shows to watch in re-runs in the late 70's and early 80's. I never missed them and can still enjoy them fully when they are on the tube.
I am reminded of the old adage, there is no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid people who ask them.

I also enjoy Mission: Impossible from that era.
M:I was at least AS good as TOS, and I would say the best M:I episodes were better than the worst TOS episodes.MI and The Avengers were good but not in the same class as TOS.
