How long would a war between the Federation and Krenim last?

We have seen knife through butter shield situations before. The final battles of the Odessey and Enterprise-D were sad(and avoidable) jokes.

Yet Voyager somehow lasted a very long time against Krenim torpedoes.

If a few dozen Excelsiors and Akiras showed up in the Delta Quadrant would they disable a Krenim ship quickly?

Because the bug ships should not have survived for more than 3 minutes. Even if phasers were not getting the job done the photon launchers should have destroyed at least 2 out of 3.

Ramming was also a option for our side. I will take Federation structural intergrity fields over Jem'Hedar tin can construction any day.

Yes the rescue mission was technically a success but the secondary mission of showing the flag was a complete failure.
