How likely is a new X-Files movie?

I don't know how you can call Anderson "bored" in the film. Her scenes with the priest were great.

She did seem animated in the couple of scenes she had with the (very good) Connelly, but for most of the film she's stuck in a dead end stem cell sub plot (that, despite pretensions of real world relevance, winds up only being there so she can go "Hey, yeah, turns out what I'm doing in my day job will luckily allow me to solve Mulder's problem!" near the end) which she seems hardly able to stay awake during.

I will say one thing for it though, it's very well directed, especially considering the tight budget. Mind, because so many episodes of the series were well directed as well it still winds up with that Insurrection thing of feeling like a small scale TV episode.
