I'm LOVING that pink feather boa! I've been thinking of getting a Janeway costume for Halloween (or my next Star Trek party, whichever comes first, lol) and the addition of a pink feather boa seems like a great idea!

PS: possum, what fluffy fanfic did you turn to? I'm currently working my way through Kim J's stuff. *happy sigh*

PPS: I love the "Smart Girls" vid. I'm going to make sure to raise my daughter to be confident with her intelligence and to cultivate her love of learning, whether it be science-based or something else. Forgive me, but I must now say "GIRL POWER!"

Oh, I didn't end up reading any fic that night, got distracted by Doctor Who. Thank you so much for your kind words about the "Smart Girls" vid. It's one of my favorites that I've done.

I think the most hostile Trek fans are actually the Captain Kirk fans. They just seem to think every show after TOS is unwanted trespassers on their territory. That and they all have huge man-crushes on Shatner.

Postcard under beads is for Vinkula (it's from Finland, my oldest friend is from there and she just went back for a couple months).

And that's a bulb of garlic which I mysteriously found in my bag and dumped on the desk some time ago. Yeah I'm one of those messy people, especially in my own realm, which my desk is.
